No more FOMO, dear readers! Plus sizes have come to some of my favorite brands!
And I thought everyone knew about these amazing plus size launches, but it has come to my attention on Facebook and Instagram that maybe everyone has not heard the good word! So, to be sure, I created this post to loop everyone in!
Also, in case you missed it, I posted about 10 Plus Size Brands to Know.

These are brands you’re not going to want to miss out on!
They are all brands that now carry plus sizes after many years of only making straight sizes.
7 Plus Size Launches to Know
BLOOMCHIC FASHION
Foundational to BloomChic’s mission as a plus-centered brand is challenging the entrenched norms of sizing, which have long marginalized certain body types. Indeed, by questioning and redefining these beauty standards, we strive to create a fashion landscape in which diversity — in all forms, not just size — is acknowledged and celebrated.
Anthropologie
Anthropologie is a next-level shopping Mecca that, for years, relegated us, plus size gals, to the Home section.
Many years ago I shopped there with my friends who “ohhhh’d” and “ahhhh’d” over their Anthro finds. They tried on beautiful dresses and detailed delicate blouses. And spent what felt like an eternity debating over which decadent pieces to splurge on.
Meanwhile, I sought out the now ubiquitous monogram mugs and contemplated earrings for such an inordinate amount of time that I was probably profiled as a shoplifter.
I’m sure many of you can relate to those awkward moments wandering through a store in which nothing fits you and trying to kill time by browsing the handbags, repeatedly, for 45 minutes while your girlfriends have a ball in the dressing room. Sigh.
So I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that Anthropologie now offers sizes 16W – 26W.
The bad news is that it is only available in several brick and mortar stores. So, we’ll still be shopping the Home section, ladies.
And of course, they are still quite pricey. But, as I said a few times on Instagram, they are very high quality and worth the money, in my opinion, if you have it in the budget.
J.Crew
J.Crew is now available up to size 24 or 3X. Unfortunately, not everything is available in plus sizes.
So the easiest way to shop their site is to filter items by size. But be aware that their pants and jeans are sized by vanity waist sizing. See the size chart below.
Notably, they have a new filter option, Re-Imagined, where you can search by sustainable, fair trade, organic, and recycled materials!
J.Crew Size Chart
So for example, if you are a size 24, you will want to filter size 37 when shopping for jeans and pants.
I have found them to be true to size, but their tops can be a little short if you are tall or long-waisted.
I think they need to better with their plus sizing, to be honest.
J.Crew Factory
J.Crew Factory is also now available in the same sizing as J.Crew. Woot!
One thing I have noticed about J.Crew Factory is that they don’t stock much quantity of their plus sizes.
So, if you see something you love at J.Crew Factory, I highly recommend buying it immediately as chances are it will not be available above an XL for very long.
J. Jill
J. Jill now carries sizes up to 4X or 26-28 on their website (up to 2X in stores), as well as tall and short lengths.
Unfortunately, they do not use plus size models. [eye roll]
Madewell
Madewell now has extended sizes, 16 – 24 or 3X.
Their denim and pant sizing is comparable to J.Crew.
I find their site also difficult to shop as if you specify extended sizes, it will still show you items that don’t go beyond and XL.
I have yet to figure this out, honestly. Point being, sort by size, just as you would at J.Crew.
Reformation
Reformation now has “extended sizes,” 14 – 22 or 3X.
They have some truly beautiful pieces, especially their dresses! And they actually show them on plus size models.
Worn by Meghan Markle, Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and more, Reformation is committed to reducing their carbon footprint and using sustainable fabrics, which you can read more about here.
Tommy Hilfiger
Tommy Hilfiger’s plus size line goes up to size 24 or 3X but I also recommend sorting by size when shopping the website.
That said, Macy’s carries a much larger selection of plus size Tommy.
